H.B. Thompson Middle School student Savir Peri was chosen by iWRITE Literacy Organization to have his work professionally published in their 12th Edition of the I Write Short Stories By Kids for Kids anthology.  He was invited to attend the Annual iWRITE Book Signing Gala being held on November 12 in Houston, TX.

Savir, a seventh grader, was among 100 student authors and illustrators selected from around the globe as winners in iWRITE’s annual publishing contest. Savir’s winning submission, titled Tabby Tails, will be honored along with the other winners’ original short stories, plays, poetry, songs, and artwork at the gala. The celebration will begin with a book signing where guests will have the opportunity to have their copy of the anthology signed by the student authors and illustrators.

Founded in 2009, iWRITE is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build student confidence through writing.
