Jericho Middle School held their annual spelling bee on October 26. This was the toughest competition in recent memory. Jericho sixth graders recently worked on an interdisciplinary project with Mr. Porinchak and Mrs. Douglas. They created their own cave painting as they learned about the history of these amazing drawings.

Middle School Students Start Day with Yoga
Students in Tami DeRose’s Middle School Physical Education class recently started the yoga unit. The students are learning how to perform basic Yoga poses, the benefits of Yoga, such as improving flexibility and balance, relieving stress and improving concentration, as well as how to create and choreograph their own vinyasa while collaborating with other students.
