The South Grove PTA honored school faculty and staff members at the annual staff recognition luncheon. Parents and local restaurants provided a variety of food, drinks, and desserts in thanks to all the South Grove staff for their dedication and hard work. Board of Education trustees and Syosset Central School District staff were also in attendance.

Bringing home a total of 38 medals, the Syosset Central School District had a very impressive showing at the 2018 Al Kalfus Long Island Math Fair held at Hofstra University in April.
